The career center is designed as a place where students will have continuous support in planning and developing their career. Through individual counseling and access to relevant information, students will be able to better understand their own competencies, interests and employment opportunities, as well as make informed decisions about their professional path.
A special segment of the center's work will relate to the organization of educational activities, including workshops, trainings and seminars, which will be aimed at the development of key skills necessary in the modern labor market. The focus will be on improving communication, presentation and entrepreneurial skills, but also on the development of critical thinking, teamwork and leadership.
The career center will play an important role in connecting students with the business community. Through the organization of professional internships, study visits to companies, guest lectures and presentations by employers, students will be able to acquire practical knowledge, develop professional contacts and become familiar with the real demands of the labor market.
One of the key aspects of the center's work will be to support students in the employment process. This includes help in creating professional resumes and motivation letters, as well as preparation for job interviews through simulations and practical advice. In this way, students will be more ready to present themselves to employers and increase their chances of employment.
In the coming period, the organization of career days, employment fairs and various events that will bring together company representatives and students is planned, which will further strengthen the connection between the academic and business community.
MSc Dragana Savić, whose experience and expertise will contribute to the quality implementation of the planned activities, was appointed as the head of the Career Center. Employees of the Faculty, as well as numerous professional associates and partners from various fields, will be involved in the work of the center.
By establishing the Career Center, the Faculty of Management of the Adriatic University confirms its strategic commitment to improving the employability of students and developing their competencies, creating a strong bridge between education and the labor market.
