The Faculty of Management organizes the introductory lecture in the summer semester and the Closing Conference of the Erasmus+ project GROWTH, which aims to improve green practices and strengthen the role of higher education institutions in the fight against climate change. The Closing Conference of the international GROWTH project will be held in the faculty premises on February 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The conference will be held in a hybrid format and will gather more than 120 participants from the academic, public and civil sectors, including teaching and non-teaching staff, students, local government representatives and decision makers, as well as participants from social groups with fewer opportunities. During the conference, the results of the GROWTH project, examples of good practice from Western Balkan universities, as well as recommendations for future activities in the field of sustainable development and climate policies will be presented. HERCEG NOVI - Within the framework of the international Erasmus+ project GEAR - Gender Equality in Academia and Research, which has been coordinated by the Herceg Novi Faculty of Management for two years, the online presentation of the Manifesto of the University of the Western Balkans on gender inclusive STE(A)M education was held today. As announced by the Herceg Novi Faculty of Management, the Manifesto is a joint declaration of the region's universities confirming the commitment to the systemic improvement of gender equality in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STE(A)M), through cooperation, knowledge exchange and coordinated action. The document is based on European frameworks and recommendations, as well as on the results of the GEAR project. During the online event, the key principles, values ​​and directions of action of the Manifesto were presented, which include the strengthening of institutional policies of equal opportunities, the integration of the gender perspective in teaching and research, the improvement of mechanisms for the prevention of discrimination and gender-based violence, as well as the development and implementation of Gender Equality Plans (GEP) at universities in [...]

The University of Atlántico Medio (UNAM), Gran Canaria, has announced a competition for the new Erasmus+ mobility of students. Application period: February - March 1, 2026. Interested students can contact the faculty for additional information and instructions on the procedure. After that, students independently fill out the online application form, which will be available from February 1, 2026, and attach all the required documentation. Period of realization of mobility: First semester of academic year 2026/2027. On Friday, December 5 at 1 p.m., the Faculty of Management hosted a guest lecture by Dr. Bilga Kalkavan on the topic "Intercultural Communication: The Concept of Face", organized by the Girls in Science Club. The interest in the lecture was extremely high. In addition to the students, professors and associates of the Faculty also participated, which contributed to a high-quality discussion and a highly interactive atmosphere. Dr. Kalkavan expressed her satisfaction with the engagement of the attendees, while the participants praised her clear and inspiring presentation. The topic "The Concept of Face" is one of the key concepts in intercultural and interpersonal communication, and students had the opportunity to find out how it manifests itself in different cultures, how it affects professional communication and how understanding this model contributes to successful international and interpersonal relations.

The Faculty of Management, within its Girls in Science Club, is pleased to announce a guest lecture by Dr. Bilga Kalkavan, a renowned expert in the field of communication, applied linguistics and intercultural studies. The lecture entitled "Intercultural Communication: The Concept of Face" will be held on December 5 at 1 p.m., as part of regular classes and club activities. About the lecturer Dr. Bilge Kalkavan comes from Hasan Kalyoncu University (Turkey). Her international academic career includes engagements at universities in Turkey, Greece, Iran, Spain and Montenegro, where she taught in the fields of communication, education, foreign languages, intercultural studies and multidisciplinary research. She earned her doctorate in communication and applied linguistics, and is especially known for her research on intercultural communication, adaptation of international students and storytelling in multilingual environments. Faculty of Management Herceg Novi will host a ceremonial event on the occasion of 10 years of successful work of the Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro, which has been contributing to the promotion of Chinese language, culture and educational cooperation between Montenegro and the People's Republic of China for a decade. The Institute's delegation is led by the director, prof. Gao Qinglong, together with representatives of partner Changsha University of Science & Technology, who will visit the Faculty of Management on December 2. Our guest will be Dubravka Stijović, Project Manager for Internal Policy at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from Paris, France. The company TCS is one of the world's leading IT companies, known for its innovations and work on international projects in the field of information technology and consulting services.
