General language courses include:

- Norwegian language - lecturer: Dipl.philol. Tamara Tomic
- French language - lecturer: Dr. Miloš Avramović i
- Montenegrin (Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian) language for foreigners.
General language courses are held as part of group classes. In order to ensure the quality of teaching, it is organized for groups of 5 to 10 students. The number of classes is twice a week for 90 minutes (two hours). The basic foreign language course lasts three and a half months, or 52 school hours.
The price of general language courses is €200. For students and alumni of the Faculty of Management, the price is €180.

All teaching programs are standardized according to common European language frameworks (A1, A2, B1, B2). You can see more information here.
The exam, after each level of the course, is written and oral. The written exam consists of 12 to 15 exercises. The exam is considered passed if the candidate does the text correctly in the range of 60% to 100% of the total number of points and exercises. After passing the written part of the exam, participants take an oral exam consisting of three questions for each participant:
- Reading and translation of a specific text;
- Grammar question;
- Short conversation.
The Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi organizes free Montenegrin language courses for students who are foreign citizens, with the aim of making it easier to master the lessons and obtain a certificate of knowledge of the language.
