The Faculty of Management uses the modern Moodle platform in order to support the study process, but also to realize the distance learning project (Distance Learning System - DLS).

The platform is built on the model of the world's leading e-Learning platforms. All elements necessary for a complete simulation of the teaching process in any environment chosen by the end user have been implemented.

The main advantages of distance learning

In order to follow new trends in education, we decided to launch the e-Learn platform, in order to provide management education and the opportunity to improve for students who are unable to attend classical lectures at our Faculty.

Distance learning implies the delivery of an educational program electronically, via the Internet. It is based on the use of modern computer and communication technology. It implies the existence of lectures and exercises on the Internet, consultations with lecturers via the Internet, the flow of electronic mail between participants, the existence of forums, video conferences, etc.

Thanks to the intensive development of information technologies, teaching has room to become more and more modern and inspiring, more versatile, better quality and more interactive compared to the traditional model. It is free from space and time restrictions, which means that our students can access information at any time and in any place, which leaves them more time for independent work and exchange of opinions with professors.

New opportunities and responsibilities in the career of young people, in terms of changing workplaces, changing jobs due to better financial conditions, changing working hours, a large number of meetings and business trips, working in the field, make new generations of students, who are able to finance their studies by working, increasingly access distance learning programs. Also, the distance learning system is suitable for active athletes, who due to frequent trips and commitments are unable to attend lectures at the university, while the e-Learning platform enables them to do so.

Distance learning is a supplement to the traditional way of learning, and as such gives excellent results.
