STUDY PROGRAMS

The Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi started working in the academic year 2009/2010. and enrolling in the first year of studies. Upon completion of the three-year studies, the student obtains higher education and a diploma of academic basic studies in management, as well as a Supplement Diploma. The faculty is located in an office building in Meljina and has modernly equipped halls, an amphitheater, a state-of-the-art computer center, offices and a library with a reading room.

Within the program of the Faculty of Management, i.e. There are four majors of basic academic studies:

  • Tourism and hospitality
  • Finance, accounting and banking
  • Taxes, customs and insurance
  • Business informatics and electronic business

Upon completion of the basic academic studies, a BACHELOR'S DIPLOMA (B.Sci) in management is obtained for the corresponding field of study.

At the Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi, postgraduate specialist studies "Business Management" are accredited for 1 year (60 ECTS credits), which can be enrolled by students who have 180 ECTS credits. You can see the list of courses in postgraduate specialist studies on the page:

Specialist studies - Curriculum

After completing specialist academic studies in Business Management, a SCIENCE SPECIALIST DIPLOMA (Spec.Sci) is obtained.

At the Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi, Postgraduate Master's studies in "Business Management" are accredited for a duration of 1 year (60 ECTS credits), which can be enrolled by students who have 240 ECTS credits. You can see the list of courses in Postgraduate Master's studies on the page:

Master's studies - Curriculum

After completing the master's academic studies in Business Management, a MASTER OF SCIENCE DIPLOMA (M.Sci) is obtained.

On the basis of Article 31 of the Law on Scientific Research ("Official Gazette of Montenegro 80/10") and Article 196 paragraph 1 of the Law on General Administrative Procedure ("Official Gazette of Montenegro 60/03"), the Ministry of Science issued a Decision on issuing a Work License to a scientific research institution, the Faculty of Management, an independent institution of higher education, based in Herceg Novi, for carrying out scientific research activities in the field of social sciences (Ministry License sciences of Montenegro here).

Modern curricula are based on the consistent application of the Bologna Declaration, or ECTS system (European Credit Transfer System). The total number of ECTS points per semester is 30, per year 60, that is, for three years of study, 180. Courses are one-semester. The total workload of the student for all types of engagement does not exceed 900 hours per semester, i.e. 40 hours per week. The weekly fund of lectures and exercises is until 8 pm. In the final year, there is practical training for students. Attendance at lectures, exercises and activity in classes and consultations, pre-exam knowledge checks (essays, colloquiums, tests, seminar papers) bring up to 51% of the total number of points. Final exam maximum 49%. 50% is required for a passing grade.

The faculty has 4 halls (over 400 seats), library, reading room, room for students, student service, dean's office, rooms for professors and associates, student club, buffet and restaurant for students. The total area is over 1000m2. Within the hall there is also a computer room equipped with around 35 computers with wireless internet available throughout the day. Other computer equipment is also available: laptops, video projectors, printers, video screens and an LCD screen for information in the lobby. The faculty library has about 500 domestic and foreign books from all relevant fields studied at the faculty and about 500 books in electronic form. The faculty library is in the system of the Central Library of Montenegro. If necessary, students have the option of accommodation in the "Lighthouse" hotel in Igalo.
