COMPETITION FOR AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE BEST STUDENTS FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR. A YEAR

In accordance with this competition, the Ministry of Education will award 352 scholarships to students of basic and specialist academic and applied studies, of which:
- 200 scholarships to students who extend their right to a scholarship;
– 40 scholarships for students of natural sciences, who are applying for a scholarship for the first time;
– 60 scholarships for students of social sciences, who are applying for a scholarship for the first time;
– 20 scholarships for persons with disabilities; and
– 32 scholarships for deficient occupations.

COMPETITION CONDITIONS

The right to apply for the scholarship is for the best students in the second and subsequent years of study, who have enrolled for the first time in the semester of the current study year, who have not lost a single year during their studies, who, according to the curriculum of the higher education institution where they are studying, have passed all exams from the previous years of study and achieved a success index of at least 9.00.
The best students are considered to be students who, in certain scientific disciplines, have special aptitudes for scientific or artistic work and have won awards at international and national competitions.

COMPETITION FOR THE ALLOCATION OF STUDENT LOANS FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR. A YEAR

In accordance with this competition, the Ministry of Education will award 3,400 student loans to students of basic and specialist academic and applied studies at institutions of higher education, of which:
1. students studying at institutions of higher education in Montenegro will be awarded:
- 770 loans to students of the first year of basic studies and
- 2,290 loans to students of senior years of study.

2. students of Montenegrin citizens who study at higher education institutions outside Montenegro will be awarded:
- 90 credits for students of the first year of undergraduate studies and
- 250 credits for students of senior years of study.

COMPETITION TERMS

The right to apply for a student loan is for students of basic and specialist academic and applied studies of higher education institutions who have enrolled for the first semester of the corresponding year of study and have not changed their study program.
