At the Faculty of Management from September 14 to 20, 2020. realized Summer School - "Sustainable Development in Tourism", with the support of the Ministry of Science of Montenegro.
During the official opening, the dean, Assoc. Dr. Irena Petrušić, who presented a substantial program and basic idea, while the educational meeting was opened by the vice-president of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, Danijela Đurović. According to her, Herceg Novi is lucky that the management and teaching staff of the Faculty of Management are taking steps to raise awareness of qualityand sustainable development of tourism, preservation and valorization of natural potentials, marketing innovations, but also the opportunities and dilemmas that await us in the future.
During the seven-day program of the Summer School, participants had the opportunity to listen to numerous lectures and participate in workshops by representatives of academia, business and the NGO sector. In addition to the above, two excursions were organized, that is, a tour of the "Vrbanj" Adventure Park and the "Luštica Bay" tourist complex.
The closing of the Summer School was held on September 20 within the "Lazure Marina & Hotel" complex, and on that occasion the dean Irena Petrušić, Ph.D., and the vice dean for teaching, Nikša Grgurević, Ph.D., awarded certificates for participation to the participants.
